Staff Welcome

Dear Volunteers,

I know many of you were there to enjoy Dr. Holman's "70 Years of Medical Practice",

but for those who weren't, there is stili time to view the exhibit of his "Storefront Art."

Be sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, March 3, 7:00-9:00 p.m., for the reception

featuring well-known wildlife artist Jim Killen. Many of his original works will be on

display and he will be available to speak with you one-on-one.

You will also want to save the date for the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon which will

be Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Clark's Restaurant in Santee. More details will follow

next month.

I hope you will join me in welcoming Dorothy Anderson as a new volunteer in Snider's

Store. Dorothy and her husband recently moved here from Maryland.

We are deeply saddened to have lost another member of our volunteer family. With the

passing of Jean Fogle, we have lost one of our most faithful and dedicated volunteers.

Jean served as a docent, as well as working in Snider's Store almost every Friday. She

chaired the Country Store and provided a majority of the baked goods, pickles and

preserves for it. She was a Volunteer of the Year in 2009. She will be greatly missed

by all of us.

Please call me if you can work any of the time slots that are open in February.

We appreciate all that you do for the museum.

Just enter your username and password in the "Staff Login" section in the lower right pane of this window. Once you are logged in a "Staff Menu" will also appear in the lower right pane of this window.

Look around, tell us what is helpful and what more you would like to see included in the staff section of our website.

If you and your museum commitee or workgroup would like to be able to colaborate online, share documents, see a group calendar and/or create newsletter articles, please let me know. We can set you up with a GoogleApps login to do these things and more.
